Golden Gai

For an environment design class, I was tasked with creating a beach-themed Japanese bar concept called Golden Gai. My main responsibilities was 3D modeling and texturing assets around the environment, while also contributing significantly to the fictional branding to give the project a unique and creative flair. To ensure the bar stood out, I developed original designs from scratch, utilizing my skills as a graphic designer and 3D art student, which allowed me to incorporate distinctive branding elements that enhanced the project's authenticity. My goal was to blend traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern beach vibes, creating a space that felt both genuine and innovative. The use of my own designs and the redesign of some posters were crucial to me, as I aimed to showcase my creativity within this small team of 6 students project completed in just eight weeks.
